Pădurea Hagieni

The Pădurea Hagieni Nature Reserve is a mixed (zoo-botanical) protected area of ​​national interest, located in the South Dobrogea Plateau, between the localities of Albești, Hagieni and Limanu, approximately 10 kilometers from Mangalia. This spectacular green oasis covers an area of ​​approximately 586 hectares and is managed by the Murfatlar Forest District. It hosts sub-Mediterranean habitats of the șibliac type, Sarmatian limestone ravines, temporary ponds and a biodiversity rare in the Dobrogean steppe.
