The Traian Hotel frames the Central Park, on the right, being located between the Physiotherapy Pavilion and the Central Park.

It was built between the years 1869-1871 with a semi-basement, ground floor and two levels with load-bearing masonry and wooden floors.

During the time it was in operation, it housed the Balneario Polyclinic.  In the inner courtyard there was an artesian fountain whose jets of water were iridescent in the rays of light that penetrated through the skylight windows on the roof.

It was damaged in the earthquakes of 1991-1992, due to the collapse of beams and slabs.
